Hi, I’m Kate
I work with busy adults facing low energy, digestive issues, and imbalances in weight, hormones, and the microbiome. My personalized nutrition approach helps clients achieve higher energy, mental clarity, healthy weight, and a balanced lifestyle. With so much conflicting nutrition advice out there, I help you cut through the noise and find what truly works for you, using a blend of evidence-based functional tools and traditional methods.
My unique approach includes mindset work and behavior change, ensuring you not only know what to do but how to implement it. Together, we’ll identify and overcome barriers to sustainable change, creating lasting improvements in your health. Each session is focused on setting realistic goals that build over time, utilizing techniques like functional testing, meal planning, and accountability to help you thrive.
I’m a Kansas City native, now living here with my partner, two kids, and three dogs. After living in places like Nebraska, France, Switzerland, and Texas, I’m happy to be back in KC! I became a dietitian after having my second son because I wanted real, science-based answers about nutrition, not advice from influencers. What I’ve learned is that nutrition can be simpler than we think, but it’s not always easy to put into practice. I’m here to help you find ways to make healthy living fit your life. As a mom of two boys, I get the challenges, and I’m ready to bring my energy (I’m a proud, no-chill Aries!) to help you thrive.
After earning my BA in French and International Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I lived in Switzerland, studying and working as an Au Pair. When I returned to Kansas City, I worked in pharmacy management and discovered my passion for the medical field. After having my second son, I decided to pursue my love for health, food, and cooking by becoming a Registered Dietitian. I graduated from Kansas State University with dual degrees in Dietetics and Human Nutrition.
I completed my Dietetic Internship with Sodexo, where I gained experience in outpatient care, focusing on Oncology and general nutrition counseling. Later, I earned my Master’s of Science in Clinical Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island, specializing in Motivational Interviewing and weight management for my capstone project.
I am a Masters-Level Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Integrative and Functional Certified Practioner, Health Mindset Certified Coach, and Health Coach. This diverse training allows me to offer a truly holistic approach to addressing your nutrition challenges.
